Obukhova's story "Lilith" (1966) - the first work of the writer in the genre of science fiction - became a noticeable phenomenon in Soviet science fiction of the 1960s. The story, containing explicit references to the Sumerian epic, describes the contact of alien aliens with the primitive people of the Earth, seen through the eyes of the latter.
