The basic principles of construction of pulse sources of secondary power supply (with transformer-free input) in relation to household radio equipment are considered. Information is provided on electronic components: powerful high-voltage key transistors, high-speed rectifier diodes, pulse transformers. Specific practical schemes of pulse power sources used in domestic and foreign household radio equipment are described. For engineers engaged in the development of electronic equipment, and can be useful to qualified radio amateurs.
