The basics of the theory of radio receivers are presented. Tasks, principles, methods and criteria of radio reception quality are considered. Typical structural diagrams of receivers and basic electrical diagrams of their main elements (radio signal amplifiers, frequency converters, correlators, detectors, matching devices, automatic gain control and frequency adjustment devices) are given.
