The publication contains information on all stages of asphalt concrete technology: requirements for constituent materials, the composition and structure of asphalt concrete, physical, mechanical and operational properties, the production of mixtures, their laying and compaction in layers of road pavements, the design of the composition, technical control at ABZ and on the laying of coatings. Significant attention is paid to non-standardized types of asphalt concrete: draining and cast. A wide class of bitumen-mineral materials widely used in road construction is considered separately.
