The current problems of rural settlement, planning and development of rural settlements and the architecture of residential, public and industrial complexes, buildings and structures associated with the socio-economic transformations of the Russian village are presented. New types of rural settlements, the architecture of a rural estate, low-rise residential buildings, farms are shown - the most promising and in demand objects. The paper considers ecological - spectra of village architecture. Designed for students of architectural universities as a theoretical course, as well as for course and diploma design.
