The book was written by leading scientists of various scientific centers of Russia, united in a team that received the Prize of the Government of Russia in the field of science and technology in 2012. For the first time, a detailed analysis of fundamental studies of vortex currents in relation to energy technological processes for various industries is presented. The monograph provides the results of long-term studies of vortex currents, including in the combustion chambers of various power plants, conducted at the Institute of Thermophysics of the SB RAS under the guidance of Academician Volchkov E.P.
