VOSTOCHNY MIR - a journal, an organ of the All-Ukrainian Scientific Association of Oriental Studies, founded 1927. It had two sections: political-economic and historical-ethnological. Among the authors are V. Buzeskul, P. Tichina, V. Parkhomenko, A. Kovalovsky. 1930, when Vsesukr ceased operations. the scientific association of orientalists, and instead the Association of Marxist Orientalists arose, which became the publisher of the magazine, its editorial board and structure changed. Specialists and founders were removed from work with the magazine, but the editorial board included Communist Parties: A. Polotsky, L. Velichko, O. Sukhov and others. The headings appeared: "Foreign East," "Problems of Soviet Eastern Trade," "Soviet East," "History, Ethnology, Linguistics, Literature," "Revolutionary Movement and the Struggle against Imperialism, the Economy of the East."
