This work sets out the history of the Yenisei Kyrgyz, starting from the time they came into contact with the Russians. An overview of archival and literary sources is given. The issues of resettlement, the tribal composition of the Kyrgyz, information about the kyshtym (tributaries) of the Kyrgyz princes, about the economy and socio-political relations are considered. the relations of the Yenisei Kyrgyz with their neighbors - Russia, the possessions of Altyn-khans and Dzungaria are covered.
