The training manual describes modern ideas about materials used in the manufacture of rocket engines (SDTT) operating on mixed solid rocket fuels (STRT), as well as about the processes taking place with the relevant materials during the operation of the SDTT. Much attention is paid to the basics of polymer physics and chemistry, as well as the basics of obtaining and the properties of composite poly-dimensional materials (CPM). Details of the new materials used are provided, including materials modified with nanostructures. Possible pathways from chemical rocket engines to photonic engines are shown.
