0DL (DQ500) - designation of a new automatic 7-speed gearbox with a double friction clutch operating in an oil bath. The dual friction clutch (DSG) gearbox scheme provides comfortable gear shifting without interrupting power flow and therefore without interrupting traction. The presence of seven gears reduces CO2 emissions. In this version of the DSG gearbox, the double friction clutch and the Mechatronik unit are serviced by one common oil circuit. Oil cooling is carried out using an oil radiator (heat exchanger) included in the engine cooling system circuit. Oil circulation is provided by a mechanical oil pump. The reliable gearbox design is designed to transmit up to 600 Nm of torque.
