The book of Vladimir Kiselyov (1922-1995) is a dilogy consisting of the novels "The Girl and the Birder" and "Only for Girls." The first part of the dilogy tells about the life of seventh-grader Olya Alekseeva, who is fond of chemistry and poetry, about her relationship with school friends and adults, about difficult problems in the family and school.
