The manual outlines the theoretical and methodological foundations, general tasks, directions and methods of psychological support of service teams, the principles of organizing psychological support for official activities as a technology for managing the psychological resource of service teams. The issues of competence approach in the placement of personnel on the example of psychological selection carried out in the internal affairs bodies, building a model of preventive measures carried out in service teams are considered. The issues of prevention of post-traumatic manifestations and personality deformation, as well as the organization of moral psychological preparation for official activities, have been analyzed.
