This publication highlights the main features of the legal systems of the countries of the Middle East, land law in force in these countries, Islamic land water law, Bedouin tribal land ownership, ordinary water rights. A description of the regime of property, land in Jewish law is given. It analyzes the current state of land legislation in the countries of the Middle East: land ownership, other natural resources, types of land rights, the relationship of formal law with ordinary land tenure systems.
