The first volume in a systematic form sets out the classification of ammunition and weapons, describes the characteristics of their effectiveness. Classification of fragmentation, high-explosive and cumulative ammunition, ammunition with directed flows of striking elements and volumetric explosion ammunition is given, as well as structural and schematic solutions, functioning processes and operating parameters of these ammunition are considered in detail.
