The main goal of the book is to combat fear and prejudice towards patients with mental disorders. On the one hand, mental illness, "madness" give rise to unusual and contradictory interest, on the other hand, "madness" is so frightening that a desire is born in the public consciousness to close, to remove the mentally ill from society.
