As an applied art, Bulgarian folk embroideries occupy one of the first places in our everyday life. In the last century, not a single edge could be found in Bulgaria in which embroidery would not be used to decorate clothes and other household items from fabrics, and by the end of the 19th century it was possible to observe a dense network of embroidery isolated in style. The album includes numerous examples of folk embroidery in the western regions of Bulgaria.
