This book, with a few exceptions, was composed of speeches by A.F. Koni (1844-1927), delivered in public meetings of the Academy of Sciences and the Law Society at St. Petersburg University, and from public readings about Dr. Haase and I.F. Gorbunov, arranged in 1892 and 1898 ch. in Salt Town, in the benefits of the victims of the crop failure of 1891 and the flood in St. Petersburg.
