An experiment took place in Perm, during which the Permians tried to recreate the real conditions for alternative service in the social sphere. The first experiment, which lasted exactly one year, was attended by 10 volunteers. Almost all of them (with the exception of those who were not yet conscripts), with the help of specialists, defended in court their constitutional right to pass the ACS. In October 2000, the second stage of the experiment began, designed for two years. The organizers of the experiment constantly improved the methods of legal protection of the right to ACS, as well as psychological preparation for alternative service in the social sphere.
