The monograph is an overview and analysis (typological and historical) of myths, fairy tales and epic cycles about Raven - a cultural hero, the first species and mythological raft, widely known to the folklore of the peoples of Kamchatka, Chukotka and Alaska. The genre specifics, the history of the creation and distribution of this archaic mythological epic are investigated.
