The purpose of this book is to give a true history of Rus-Ukraine and thereby refute all the perversions of this story that Ukrainian separatist historiography abounds. Therefore, it was inevitable, in parallel with the presentation of indisputable historical facts, to make derogations to state those perversions or omissions that separatist historiography resorts to. These deviations introduce a polemical element into the book. But on the other hand, they give every objective reader a clear picture of how far the perversion of the history of Ukraine has gone, which is the foundation for the entire construction of Russian-hate propaganda in Ukraine. The book tells as succinctly as possible about the history of Ukraine from ancient times to the death of the Zaporozhye Sich.
