Moldavanka is the largest and most colorful district of old Odessa. The Moldavian woman became the same symbol of the city as the Potemkin staircase, Deribasovskaya and Opera House. Tatyana Dontsova, a resident of Moldavanka, spent several years on archival and library searches, focusing her interest on charity, economics, everyday life, the culture of this truly protected area, and as a result, as glasses merged in the mosaic, "Old Moldavanka" arose before us.
