The book is the publication in Russian of records of the customary law of Albanians made in the late XIX - early XX centuries. Monuments reflect the public life of Albanians in the era of the Ottoman Empire before the emergence of an independent Albanian state and are of interest for general issues of Balkan studies and for the development of theoretical problems of ethnography, history and history of law.
