The textbook was prepared in accordance with the curriculum of the master's course "Fundamentals of Mechatronics" in the specialty "Engineering Technology" at NTU "Kharkov Polytechnic Institute." The textbook presents the main scientific approaches, terminology adopted in mechatronics, the structure and types of mechatronic systems, methods for their construction and management. The manual is intended for undergraduates and graduate students of technical universities.
