In 1969, a museum of historical jewels was opened in Kyiv. It exhibits products of master jewelers of different eras and regions (VI century BC - early XX century AD). These are products made of gold, silver, electra, platinum, decorated with precious stones - diamonds, rubies, emeralds, topazes, amethysts, etc. The basis of the exposition is collections from the fund of the State Historical Museum of the Ukrainian SSR.
