Scientists (from the UK and USA) in the field of molecular physics discuss the theory of surface phenomena at the liquid-gas boundary. Elements of classical theory of capillarity, equilibrium thermodynamics of surfaces, quasi-thermodynamics, statistical mechanics of surface layers and computer simulation of these layers are considered.
