For the first time in the book, on the basis of archival materials, an attempt was made to study and systematize information about the little-known Ukrainian Cossack monastery "Black Vyr" on the Holy Mount Athos. Until now, there has not been a single study about this Cossack Athos shrine. The work allows us to rediscover this center of Ukrainian spirituality and a unique monument to the presence of Cossacks on distant Mount Athos, which the Cossacks lovingly called "Spiritual Zaporozhye."
