The book "In the Jungle of Africa," written after a safari and published in 1914, has become a big event in the hunting literature of Russia. The author illustrated the book with drawings and photographs. This is a real hunter's diary. Not a single trifle was missed - almost every day of hunting was described, all the trophies were counted, the "work" of the weapon was carefully studied, up to the conclusions about the striking effect of the Mauser and Holland-Holland bullets.
