The textbook "Medical Ecology" describes the basic principles of medical ecology (environmental medicine). This is a new direction of medical science. Environmental medicine is trying to find out the cause of diseases in direct connection with the environment. Therefore, medical ecology can be defined as a subject considering the interaction between environmental risk factors and human health. At the same time, a wide variety of environmental factors, nosological forms of diseases, and human genetic characteristics are taken into account.
