The physicochemical properties of glasses, the basis of glass melting, molding and heat treatment of products are illuminated. Methods and techniques for producing blown and pressed articles, as well as decoration of articles during moulding are considered. The issues of mechanization and automation of production, standardization and quality control, labor protection and the environment are described.
