The main physical principles of operation and features of the functioning of gyroscopes of various types are considered. Micromechanical gyroscopes and accelerometers with frame and cantilever designs of a sensitive element with capacitive and autoelectronic converters and nanoelectromechanical measuring converters for measuring low-intensity thermal fields in infrared and terahertz regions of the spectrum have been investigated.
