Petr Petrovich Pertsov (1868-1947) - literary critic, publicist, thinker, art historian. After the revolution, he worked in the museum department of the People's Commissariat for Education and in the Department for the Protection of Art Monuments. He has published several museum guides, one of which is dedicated to Moscow art galleries.
