The first edition of Bees and Crops was published in 1985 and aroused great interest among a wide range of readers. The entire print run (5,000 copies) was sold out within a few weeks. Over the past 20 years, additional observations have been carried out, new interesting materials have been obtained. We have provided extended data on pollination of various crops, increased the list of bee-pollinated species; and, in addition, the monograph includes methodological developments for conducting experiments aimed at studying the effectiveness of bee pollination.
