The book presents the first experience of a comprehensive study of holidays in Hellas and the ancient cities of the Northern Black Sea region in the VI-I centuries. BC e. The relevance of the topic of research is that ancient public holidays consolidated people in the face of fatherly gods, constituted a structure-forming factor of social life and were an integral part of the religion and culture of ancient society. The work is built on the study of literary and epigraphic sources in combination with monuments of material culture, primarily works of fine art.
