The book offered to the attention of readers is devoted to a largely controversial and insufficiently studied topic - determining the limits of energy concentration (cumulation) during nonlinear compression of gas bubbles under the influence of variable external pressure and studying the nature of the physicochemical effects accompanying such compression. The relevance of the topic became especially acute after reports on the possibility of initiating thermonuclear reactions in these conditions.
