The proposed brief review of sources on ancient Caucasian Albania presents Greek, Latin and Armenian authors regarding the Albanian ethnic group, although some of them find only grains of information of interest to us. Bearing in mind the scarcity of written sources, we did not neglect the data of those writers whose works contain separate references to Albania. In addition, archival data on material culture and the resettlement of autochthonous inhabitants of ancient East Transcaucasia are a reliable source.
