This edition includes almost all archive documents for 1923-27 related to domestic politics and the struggle for power in the Soviet leadership. Materials related to the activities of the Comintern are presented only to the extent necessary to understand the factional struggle. The publication also includes archival materials "Opposition Bulletin," books by Trotsky: "Stalin's School of Falsification," "Portraits," "Diaries and Letters" and "Portraits of Revolutionaries." Documents are arranged in chronological order. Most of the materials are published for the first time and almost all - for the first time in Russian.
