The monograph is devoted to the study of the ethnic history of Western Zakubanya in the early Iron Age. The main sources are archaeological materials - funerary monuments of the first half of the 1st millennium BC. Based on a detailed analysis of the funerary rites and material culture of the ancient population of the region and comparing the results obtained with the data of ancient written sources, the ethnic processes that took place in Western Zakubanye in the VIII-V centuries are reconstructed.
