This publication examines the evolution of ontogenesis in general and its individual components, which underlies organic evolution. The novelty of this book is that in considering this problem, along with the results of old, already classic, studies, the latest achievements of embryology are used (the list of references contains about 1300 titles). Many of the private issues affected received a new modern treatment.
