The tutorial is a set of rules, techniques and recommendations developed on the basis of formal logic. The minimum of formal and logical knowledge is presented in the form in which it can be directly used to solve a wide range of cognitive problems of dissertation research. Tips and recommendations are given in a general context with an analysis of examples from dissertations, abstracts and publications in various fields of science.
