The course introduces participants to the various approaches used to implement access to data sources, provides an analysis of existing data access methods, including ODBC, OLE DB and ADO, and discusses the mechanisms for publishing remote data sources to the Internet. The course provides an overview of the classes used to work with databases provided by the Delphi, JBuilder, and Microsoft VisualStudio .NET programming systems.
