For the first time, the most complete collected works of Yevgeny Petrovich Karnovich (1823-1885), an outstanding Russian historian, publicist and prose writer, are published. The four-volume book includes all the historical novels and novels of the writer, as well as the best of his research works on the history of the Russian Middle Ages. Evgeny Karnovich published articles in the Historical Bulletin, Week, Russian Thought, People's School and Novi. He wrote a number of historical novels devoted to the history of Russia in the XVII-XVIII centuries.
