The novel "The Journey and Adventures of Captain Gutteras" is part of a series of books united by Jules Verne with the general title "Extraordinary Travels." This series included most of the writer's works. The text of the novel is given in translation edited by Evgenia Birukova. The illustrations in this edition were made by the wonderful artist Pyotr Ivanovich Lugansky.
