The training manual includes modules related to the classification of recoverable products depending on their operating conditions, as well as materials for repair and restoration and wear-resistant surfacing. It gives an idea of ​ ​ the essence of various methods of repair welding and surfacing of products from structural materials, summarizes the materials of the author's own research and other researchers and practitioners. Methods of hardening and restoring the geometry of the surface of products, as well as methods of increasing the wear resistance of machine parts by electric arc surfacing are given. Specific examples of restoration of car and tractor parts are considered.
