The Soviet intelligence operation to extract the atomic secrets of the West "Enormoz" (1941-1948) is considered one of the best in the history of the secret war. Thanks to this operation, the Soviet Union was able to create its own atomic weapons in a short time and deprive the United States of a monopoly in this area. More than 50 secret Kremlin informants - Western scientists and engineers - participated in Enormoz. More than 70 years have passed, but some of the "atomic spies" have not been identified by Western counterintelligence. Historians of the special services Alexander Kolpakidi and Sergei Chertoprud for the first time in one book talked about 40 "atomic agents of the Kremlin," most of them nuclear scientists. Some of the "spy" biographies of these people are published for the first time.
