Prigogine's approach is related to the study of complex systems and its application to the real world, the knowledge of all levels of nature. The book opens a new dialogue between man and nature. Ilya Romanovich Prigozhin (1917-2003): Belgian physicist and physicochemist, one of the creators of unequal spring thermodynamics. Born in Moscow, emigrated from Russia with his parents in 1920. In 1947 he proved that in a stationary state under unchanged external conditions, the production of entropy in a thermodynamic system is minimal (Prigozhin's theorem). Prigogine owns the first works on statistical thermodynamics of irreversible processes and its application in chemistry and biology. Nobel Prize (1977).
