For the first time in the history of the study of Russian emigration to the United States, the forms and methods of work of a multi-level system of Russian public organizations created in America in the XX - early XXI centuries by representatives of all migration waves are considered. The past and current state of the Russian diaspora in America is presented on the basis of archival materials, a survey of modern organizations of compatriots, interviews of prominent figures of the Russian Diaspora, as well as with the involvement of scientific and journalistic literature.
