The book contains background information about all the currently known victims of Stalinist repressions shot in the city of Orsha (1874 people), as well as several articles by historian-archivist Dmitry Drozd about repressions in this city. The publication published about 30 color photocopies of archival documents of the NKVD of the BSSR from the fund 1444 "Orsha prison of the department of places of detention of the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs of the BSSR..." from the Zonal State Archive in Orsha.
