Regularities and phenomena accompanying the process of metal coating application by electrospark alloying are described. Issues related to the expansion of the capabilities of this method are considered. The main attention is paid to power sources, working bodies (vibration exciters, etc.), process mechanization and some issues of technology that improves the quality and productivity of coating application.
