Home is a basic human need. The book, on the one hand, examines the features of the housing needs of the older generation, on the other hand, based on empirical research conducted by the Center for Field Research of the Institute for Social Analysis and Forecasting of the RANEPA, and an analysis of world experience in the development and design of (social) housing comfortable for all ages, the concept of a new social home is proposed. Perhaps the concept may seem utopian to the reader, but the authors sincerely hope that the book can be the first step towards realizing the reality of implementing the idea of ​ ​ a comfortable old age surrounded by loved ones, neighbors, and creating a favorable environment for aging outside of isolation.
