The focus is on the movement of particles in the electromagnetic field and the kinetics of plasma, including the theory of Coulomb collisions, braking and recombination radiation, as well as a number of other elementary processes; the theory of two-fluid and single-fluid magnetic hydrodynamics is described in detail. The level of presentation is designed for students who have studied courses in electrodynamics and molecular physics and are familiar with the basics of quantum mechanics and statistical physics.
